Now that the government has announced a further lockdown till May 3rd, 2020, you are either stuck safe and sound with your family at your home or in a different city alone. Either way, you are definitely deprived of house help, and ordering food is not the best thing to do when a virus as contagious as COVID is on the go.

Passing time in these circumstances is difficult. We all have sudden bouts of productivity drive when we start reading, writing, and working but then comes the lazy halt where the procrastination and too much time sucks you dry of all the motivation.

To please your belly and feel a little better when you are not being very productive, try these 10 easy to make insta-food recipes to keep going.

1. Sweet dish out of egg and bread.

Take a bowl and pour some milk into it, then add sugar as per taste and break two eggs in it. Beat the mixture well till the sugar dissolves. Take a slice of white bread and dip it inside the mixture for few seconds.

Heat butter (butter is always better) in a pan and fry the bread. If it suits your taste, you can always have it for breakfast. To make it extra “bougie” top it off with some maple syrup or chocolate sypus and don’t forget to dust some trusty old powdered sugar.

2. Experimental Maggi

Our generation loves Maggi, we cannot deny that. Remember when Maggi was banned for almost a year? That was when we realized that we should not take the things we love for granted. To make your Maggi taste different, sauté some onions and tomatoes with green chilies in oil till it almost becomes paste-like.

3. Soupy Maggi

If you have not tried this, you are missing out on something really classy and delicious. Get hold of Manchow soup or Ching’s noodle soup, the ones that you pour in boiling water and stir for a few seconds and that is all.

Make Maggi till it soaks up all the water and is dried and sticky. Scramble eggs in butter. Now add your Maggi to the bowl of soup and then add scrambled eggs on top for a really amazing dish.

4. Nothing like Brownies

If you are not up for baking or wish to not do it due to your never-ending laziness, take Brittania cakes, preferably chocolate, and make dough out of them with butter. And if you don’t want an arm workout then melt the butter before adding it to the mushed cake to make the knilding process a lot easier.

“Tum Gujarati log kitne cute hote ho, par tum log ka khana itna khatarnaak kyun hota hai? We all remember the drunk Kareena Kapoor from 3 idiots ranting about our forever love Dhokla.
